Research interest in the field of Fetal-Maternal Medicine:

    1) contribution of knowledge of natural history of central nervous system congenital malformations,
    2) normal anatomic variants in fetal development,
    3) etiopathogenesis of pulmonary hypoplasia in preterm rupture of membranes,
    4) reconstruction of fetal pulmonary volumes by 3D technique with a new prototype of multiplanar probe,
    5) prematurity and brain injury,
    6) vasoactive intestinal peptide for the development of CNS in Down Syndrome children,
    7) congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection and related brain damage,
    8) effects of fetal mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) on prematurity-brain injury,
    9) characterization of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) derived from fetal tissues,
    10) analysis of placental growth factors related to vascular diseases during pregnancy
